The Kati® Blitz Locating 2.0 is the successor of the established cable pulling and locating device Kati® Blitz 2in1. Equipped with an internal slip ring transformer and a high quality Polykat® fiberglass profile with integrated copper wires allows the installer to pull cable, to locate blockades and to follow the route of the pipe. Kati® Blitz Locating 2.0 can be used with all customary cable detectors. Similar to the Kati® Blitz Compact 2.0 the Kati® Blitz Locating 2.0 has an improved, ergonomic design and a user friendly handling. The handy crank of the 20 and 30 m version makes the winding of the Polykat® fibreglass profile very easy. The 50 m version has no crank. Furthermore the combination of both Flexi-Sonde 2.0 and Rod End 2.0 enables a very narrow bending radius of just 30 mm. The rod guide is reinforced with fibreglass that makes it extremely wear-resistant. The specific return stop protects the rod from gliding into the box accidentally while winding.

Which transmission and reception unit can be recommended for the Kati Blitz Locating 2.0?
The Kati Blitz Ortung as well as all other Katimex 2in1 route locators have copper wires which can be operated with a standard transmitter and receiver devices. Due to the continuous development of the transmitter and receiver devices we cannot give a general recommendation.
Is a declaration of conformity required for the Kati Blitz Locating?
The Kati Blitz Locating does not require a declaration of conformity. However, we do offer a manufacturer's declaration.
Up to what depth can the Kati Blitz Locating be used to locate blockades in the wall?
A reliable detection is possible with the most common cable detectors up to a depth of approx. 30 cm. However, it should be noted that the estimate depends strongly on the structure of the wall (stud construction, material of the walls, presence of reinforcement bars, etc.) as well as the handling of the cable locator used. The Kati Blitz Locating is only the transmission medium. To improve the transmission performance, many manufacturers recommend earthing the transmitter.
